1. What services does RoadZAP EV provide?

  • Fleet Charging (Coming Soon 2026): We offer customized solutions for businesses with electric vehicle fleets. We can schedule regular charging sessions to ensure your vehicles are always ready for their next route.

  • Emergency Roadside Assistance: If you've run out of battery on the road, we provide a quick power boost to get you to the nearest charging station or your next destination.

2. How does the RoadZAP EV service work? Our service is simple and convenient.

  • Step 1: Request a Charge: Use our online form, app, or call us to request a charge. Provide your vehicle details, location, and the desired charge level.

  • Step 2: Dispatch and Arrive: A RoadZAP technician will be dispatched to your location with our mobile charging unit. You will receive real-time updates on their estimated time of arrival.

  • Step 3: Charge and Go: Our technician will safely connect and charge your vehicle. Once the service is complete, you'll receive a notification and a receipt.

3. What types of electric vehicles can you charge? We are equipped to charge all major electric vehicle models on the market, including Tesla, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Chevrolet, Nissan, Revian, Toyota, Lexus, and many more brands . Our units are compatible with all standard EV charging ports.

4. How long does a charging session take? The charging time depends on your vehicle's battery size and how much of a charge you need. A typical emergency power boost to get you to the nearest station may take just 25-45 mins (7-9Kw)

5. How much does your service cost? Our pricing is based on the type of service you need. We provide Emergency and Non-emergency services. We also have a $2 a mile up charge for residents outside of our service area. We service a 30 mile radius Union NJ being the center.

6. What are your hours of operation? We are available to provide service during our standard operating hours: MON -SUN 9am-6pm. We also offer 24hr emergency services.

7. In what areas do you provide service? We are a local business serving the New Jersey Tri-state area. Our primary service area includes, Union, Newark, Jersey City, Elizabeth, Hillside, Linden, Rahway, Woodbridge and all surrounding cities within a 30-mile radius.

8. Is your service safe for my vehicle? Yes, absolutely. We are highly trained and use charging equipment that is certified and regularly maintained. We ensure a safe and secure connection for every charge.

9. Do I need to be present during the charging session? You can be, but you don't have to be. We are able to charge most vehicles without the driver present, as long as we have access to the charging port. However, we recommend being present for emergency roadside assistance calls for safety reasons.
